Breiddalur
Breiðdalur is the broadest valley in East Iceland and is located at the north of Breiðdalsvík.To the south of Breiðdalur lies another valley called, Suðurdalur and another which lies to the north, called Norðurdalur. Breiðdalur is surrounded by mountains up to 1200m high.
Peculiar mountain peaks can be seen in the south of the valley.
Breiðdalsá is a beautiful river which flows from the mountains between Breiðdalur and Skriðdalur.
